RV crashes into West Seattle fitness club, sets it ablaze
RV crashes into West Seattle fitness club, sets it ablaze A West Seattle fitness club was damaged after an RV crashed into the building early Wednesday morning, setting it on fire.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. at 28th Ave SW and SW Andover Street, according to Seattle Fire officials.
No one was injured in the crash or fire, and crews were able to douse the blaze and shut off the gas to the area.
It’s the second time this year an RV has crashed in that area. In July, the brakes failed on another RV and it rolled through the same intersection. That one missed the health club and went down an embankment, injuring two people inside.
A resident who lives in a different RV in the area said he didn’t recognize the one that crashed on Tuesday.
Police are still investigating what led up to the crash.
