Police say juvenile was assaulted at Helena health club

HELENA –

At about 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, the dispatch center in Helena was contacted by a staff member of the Capital City Health Club who said that a juvenile female had been sexually assaulted by a man in one of the facility’s restrooms.

Officers and detectives responded to investigate and learned the man had left the facility after being confronted by a family member of the victim.

Working with descriptions of the suspect from customers of the club, and with club staff members, the suspect was identified.

Officers and detectives went to the suspect’s home, along with searching for possible vehicles the suspect may have been driving.

Officers detained the suspect, and search warrants are being served.

The Helena Police Department has not yet released the name of the suspect, nor the specific nature of the assault, but said that additional details would be released on Wednesday.HELENA –
