World Gym Closes Another Location…….The sign on door read:

World Gym closes

Two weeks after World Gym San Marcos closed its doors World Gym New Braunfels has done the same. On July 24, 2011, World Gym New Braunfels members were greeted to a sign on the door stating that after 14 years in operation the gym was closing its doors.

The sign on World Gym New Braunfels door read:

It is with deep sadness that we must announce the immediate closing of World Gym New Braunfels due to the continuing economic downturn.  We have been privileged to serve the fitness needs of the community for the past 14 years and are grateful for the opportunity.

We wish you all the best in health and fitness to you and your families.

On July 13, 2011 the World Gym San Maros closed it doors as well.

Notice of Exempt Health Spa Closing

Corridor Fitness Inc. d/b/a World Gym, located at 1106 N. IH 35, San Marcos, Texas, ceased operation on or about July 10, 2011. The Secretary of State has been notified of this closing. At the time World Gym closed it held a certificate of exemption and therefore was not required to file a security bond or post other security with the Secretary of State. Members of World Gym with time remaining on a prepaid membership contract should contact the health spa’s home office regarding a refund for the value of the balance of the contract. If you are unable to recover funds for the unused portion of your prepaid membership contract, you may file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division, P O Box 12548, Austin, Texas 78711.
