Workout Anytime to open first Triangle location

Workout Anytime, a fitness concept that stays open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, says it’s opening a location in Cary on Aug. 5, its first in the Triangle and second in North Carolina.

Located on NW Maynard Road, the facility offers cardiovascular, weight-lifting and tanning equipment, as well as showers, lockers and 24-hour camera surveillance.

The Cary location is owned by Keith Fenn, a former land-development engineer who served as a member of the Cary Planning and Zoning Board. He is still hiring for a handful of positions, according to a press release from the company.

Workout Anytime already has one location in Greensboro and has ambitious expansion plans in the Triangle and beyond.

“We feel like we could open another six locations in [the Triangle] over the next two or three years,” said Randy Trotter, vice president of development for Workout Anytime. He adds that the company is also “looking for real estate” in Winston-Salem, Asheville and Asheboro.

Workout Anytime is headquartered in Atlanta and has 41 locations across the Southeast. The company operates on what Trotter calls a “value-priced model,” with memberships running from $15 to $25 a month.
