Snap Fitness expanding to United Kingdom, with two London-area clubs opening soon

Snap Fitness said Wednesday it will enter the United Kingdom market for the first time, with two London-area clubs expected to open in the next two months.

Chanhassen-based Snap Fitness said it plans to open 75-100 clubs throughout the United Kingdom over the next five years, including 10 in the London area, according to a company news release.

It plans to open in Kenton in April and in Milton Keynes in May.

Snap Fitness has 1,300 of its 24/7 fitness centers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, Australia and New Zealand.
