Man found unresponsive in LA Fitness locker room, cops say

A 61-year-old man was taken to Easton Hospital after being found unresponsive in an LA Fitness locker room, police said.

Wilson Borough Police Chief Steven Parkansky said at about 5:30 p.m. police responded to LA Fitness, 340 S. 25th St., for a report of a man not breathing.

Staff members were performing CPR when police arrived and officers assisted, Parkansky said. Rescuers from the borough fire department and EMS arrived a short while later, according to the chief.

A faint pulse returned and the man, who was not identified, was taken by Suburban EMS ambulance to the hospital.

Parkansky said it occurred after the man finished exercising at the health facility.
