Law360, New York (September 06, 2013,  7:42 PM ET) — LA Fitness International LLC has inked a $3.8 million settlement to resolve a class action accusing the fitness club of using deceptive contracts and charging its members unwarranted fees, according to a motion filed in New Jersey federal court on Friday.

As part of the deal, LA Fitness will give claimants 45-day access passes to its facilities and either two free training sessions or $100 credit toward new membership at any of the club’s New Jersey locations.
