MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The man responsible for the death of an 18-year-old inside a local LA Fitness has been arrested.

According to police, on Tuesday,  they received a tip that 21-year-old Ronald Jones was in the 2800 block of Raja.

He was charged with first-degree murder and transported to the jail.

Police said on Friday, July 24, Jones shot and killed 18-year-old Vicdarrius Pollard after getting into a verbal argument while playing basketball.

Jones allegedly walked out of the gym, grabbed a handgun and shot Pollard multiple times.
