Greenville fitness center withdraws thousands from members’ accountsGREENVILLE, N.C. –

 

If you have auto-draft set-up for your Fitness Connection gym membership, you might want to log onto your bank account. Some Greenville members were shocked Tuesday evening when thousands of dollars were withdrawn from their accounts.
Torri Parmley contacted 9 On Your Side to alert us to the problem. She even shared a screen grab of her account to show us that over $2,900 was indeed withdrawn from her account under the Fitness Connection name. Parmley went on to say that other members had upwards of $8,000 withdrawn.
We reached out to Fitness Connection in Greenville and the young woman who answered the phone assured us they’re working on the problem. She said it’s a corporate issue that’s affecting every location across the state. She went on to say that they’ve been in contact with members’ banks and hope to have everyone’s money returned by Wednesday morning at the latest.
9 On Your Side stopped by the gym Wednesday morning to find out more about the billing problems. The manager directed us to the corporate office. He did however says  Fitness Connection issued a statement on its facebook page regarding the billing issues. Click here to view.GREENVILLE, N.C. –
