“We are fortunate to have both David Fowler and Tim Keightley on hand to lead club operations as we navigate this exciting time of growth and expansion,” Bean wrote in the email.

Brad Bean—Brandon’s brother— has been promoted to the new role of senior director of club support. In the new role, Brad Bean will continue to support all fitness operations and report to Keightley. Bryant Haddock, national express operations manager, will work alongside Brad Bean to support club openings.

The divisional vice presidents and district managers, along with Mac Nichols, director of facilities, and Scott Corless, vice president of sales, will report to Fowler.

Mark French, vice president of IT, will now report to CFO Aaron Watkins, who will continue to serve as interim president. Mark Stevens, director of revenue management, will now report to Mike Cobb, chief marketing officer.

“I want to take an opportunity to thank you for the cooperation and agility you’ve shown throughout this week,” Brandon Bean wrote in the email. “While there has been some reorganization over the past few days, rest assured one thing will never change: our mission. Gold’s Gym has and always will be here to change people’s lives and help them achieve their individual potential through fitness. This mission is carried out every day by you, our associates, and we appreciate all of the hard work you’ve been doing.”

Bean added that Gold’s is continuing its search for a new president.

“I want to reiterate that these changes will not in any way affect your day-to-day responsibilities or projects,” wrote Bean, who also serves as the CFO of parent company TRT Holdings. “As we enter this new chapter of our company’s future, I am confident we are well positioned for the next chapter of continued growth and advancement of the brand.”
