Gold’s Gym to acquire several Aspen Athletic Clubs.
Dallas-based Gold’s Gym has acquired eight of the nine Aspen Athletic Clubs in Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas, a website is reporting.
Club Industry said Gold’s Gym acquired clubs in Omaha, Lincoln and Papillion. The only site not included in the acquisition is the Gold’s Gym near 180th and Q Streets in Omaha, the website says.
Corporate officials were not available for comment Saturday, but an employee at one of the former Aspen locations said the sale was confirmed to staff members Friday.
The former Aspen locations were also listed as Gold’s locations on Gold’s website.
