Former Jaguars QB signs lease for first Retro Fitness location in Jacksonville

 

Former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterbackDavid Garrard has signed a deal for the first Jacksonville location of his fitnessfranchise, Retro Fitness.

Retro Fitness will open in four to six months in a 12,000-square-foot space in Harbour Village, a Fresh Market-anchored shopping center on Atlantic Boulevard in Queens Harbour.

Carrie Smith, regional managing director of Franklin Street in Jacksonville, represented Retro Fitness in the transaction.

in October 2013, Garrard signed on as a Retro Fitness franchisee, planning to open three of the gyms in Northeast Florida over the next two years.

Retro Fitness has more than 100 locations in 12 states. It’s a full-service fitness center, including group fitness classes, child care and a smoothie bar.
