Former Pewaukee Snap owner Bradley Bayerlein claims Elm Grove and Brookfield Snap owner Allex Paul caused him suffering and mental anguish after spreading false accusations. Bayerlein claims Paul falsely accused him of participating in vandalism at his franchises.

According to a complaint filed in the Waukesha County Circuit Court, Paul sent a mass email that included Bayerlein’s affiliates and fellow managers claiming Bayerlein’s friends entered his businesses and went on a “rampage”.

Paul’s email claims Bayerlein’s friends hung on tanning room doors, smashed a glass mirror with a dumbbell, and attempted to loosen televisions on treadmills in his Elm Grove Snap location. Paul claims Bayerlein simply “laughed it off” when it was brought to his attention.

Paul said Bayerlein’s friends “went on a rampage” days later through his Brookfield club and began kicking stability balls and dropping weights in the workout room. Paul claimed the act was in retaliation after he refused to help Bayerlein.

“We wanted to make you all aware of this so they do not come and terrorize your clubs too,” Paul stated in his email.

Bayerlein said Paul accused him of granting access for the individuals involved in the “rampage”, and helped devise the plans. Bayerlein asserts the claims made in the email are false and libelous and were meant to damage his professional reputation.

Bayerlein is suing for defamation, and is seeking punitive damages for harm done to his reputation.
