Just before noon, an Audi drove into the Anytime Fitness located on Pelham Road in Greenville, according to FOX Carolina crews at the scene.

Diana Watson spoke with the driver who said she was parking and had the foot on the break, but the car kept going. The woman said she swerved inside to avoid hitting equipment, leaving her car and gear inside the gym damaged. But she walked away without a scratch.

Authorities at the scene said no one was injured in the accident, though there were a few people working out at the time.

Nine to 10 machines were ruined in the wreck, and there was significant damage to the front of the building, authorities said.

There is no word yet how long it will take to repair the gym so it can reopen for business.
