BASIC-FIT APPOINTS REDOUANE ZEKKRI AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Hoofddorp, 19 July 2019 – Basic-Fit announces the appointment of Redouane Zekkri as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of the leadership team of Basic-Fit as of 1 August 2019. He will complement the team, which currently consists of Rene Moos (CEO) and Hans van der Aar (CFO).

Redouane brings with him a wealth of fitness experience which he gained both within and outside the company. Redouane will oversee the fitness operations with a focus on operational excellence and on the sustained growth of the company. Redouane will continue to report to Rene Moos.

Redouane Zekkri (43) joined the company in 2008 and has been working in the fitness industry for more than 15 years. Within Basic-Fit, and its predecessor HealthCity, Redouane was active in several management roles, amongst others Country Manager for Belgium & Luxemburg, Managing Director France and most recently International Strategy & Expansion Director. Before joining the company, Redouane was working in different roles at Fitness First.
