Anytime Fitness signs lease for new location
Frisco is about to get fit.
Anytime Fitness announced in a press release it is opening its first club in Frisco.
Construction for the 4,400-square-foot building is already under way, and it plans to open in the fall at 8745 Gary Burns Drive, suite 100, next to Walmart in the Hickory Center.
Club owner Hayes Carter said he is eager to see what Anytime Fitness can bring to the Frisco community.
“(It) offers a convenient and affordable exercise option for the area,” Carter said in the release. “We believe our 24-hour co-ed fitness club will be a great addition to the City of Frisco and we are very excited to be here.”
Members of the club get a security-access key that allows them to enter the building at any time of the day, even if no staff is working. It also offers 24-hour tanning and gives members the ability to use an Anytime Fitness in more than 2,000 clubs in the U.S., Canada and Australia, officials said.
Carter said the first 100 members will receive “the lowest prices we will ever offer,” as a way to persuade residents to join.
The club’s website, anytimefitness.com, offers members diet and fitness trackers, meal planners, videos and much more.
