One member was arrested after slapping another member at Anytime Fitness.
A Spring Hill man was arrested on Thursday morning after slapping a man at Anytime Fitness on Powell Road.
The victim and another man were sitting on benches in the hand weights area when they were approached by Andre Lamar Storr, 34, according to an arrest affidavit.
The men later told law enforcement they did not speak with Storr, and didn’t think they had ever seen him before.
Storr knocked one of the men off the bench, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim initially believed Storr had tripped, because he apologized, but then the man slapped him in the face and rubbed his head.
The men were “stunned” by Storr’s actions. Storr talked about posting the altercation on YouTube and threatened to stab the victim in the eye, the affidavit states.
Video footage confirmed the victim’s statements.
One of the men snapped a photo of Storr, his vehicle and license tag, and the man was taken into custody at his Blythewood Street home.
Storr said he battered the man because he was making jokes about him.
Storr was released on $500 bond on Thursday afternoon.
Court records show a woman filed a domestic violence petition against Storr the same day.
