Blink Fitness, New York, experienced record sales performance numbers in March, the company announced on April 4 without sharing specific numbers.
March was the highest sales month in the history of the 11-year-old business, and February surpassed any previous February in the company’s history, according to Blink, which has more than 100 locations open or in development in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, Illinois, Florida, Virginia, Massachusetts and Texas.
Blink’s gym check-ins increased by double digits in March 2022 compared to March 2019. The company did not offer the exact percentage of the increase. The in-gym traffic data indicated that as members return to the gym and new members join, they are more engaged and committed to returning to a fitness routine than in the past, according to the company.
“We are thrilled to see the trend that was undoubtedly coming – people getting back to the gym in record numbers,” Blink Fitness CEO Todd Magazine said in the announcement. “As the country rebounds from the COVID-19 pandemic, people are ready to return to their fitness routines or start a new health habit. Blink’s approachable gym experience, accessible fitness expertise and incredible value have made us a destination for this great migration back.”
Blink is offering a $10 per month membership with just $1 to join with no commitment (excluding Manhattan locations) through April 14. This is the lowest membership price Blink Fitness has ever offered, the company said.
All Blink locations offer perks with memberships that includes a free 30-minute start-up session with a certified personal fitness trainer. Club NewsIndustry News
