Fire crews were called to Snap Fitness Toowoomba CBD gym, on the corner of West and James Street in Harristown, about 11.38pm on Monday night.

All equipment had been cleaned and decontaminated and memberships had been placed on hold after the first fire, with the intention to re-open, when the second fire ripped through the gym last night.
Snap Fitness Toowoomba CBD franchisee Griff Davies said police had conducted an investigation into the first fire and found it was a non-suspicious electrical fire.
Mr Davis said now he was not so sure about the cause of the first fire and was “scared”, but said the doors to the gym would open again.
“It seems a bit strange, there are a lot of people who do these things, who knows what they are capable of,” he said.
“It will be back, all the repairs will be done.”
Investigations are continuing and anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
