“With all of the growth in and around downtown Birmingham, we felt this location would best serve the wants and needs for those working and living downtown,” said The Executive Health Club CEO Wayne Alford. “Knowing convenience is the number one factor when finding a health club that works for its members, we felt we could bring the convenience to them, in addition to offering the amenities and environment the people of downtown Birmingham deserve.”
The club expects to hire between 20 and 30 people and expects to invest over $1 million in opening the new facility, which will be located in Birmingham’s Financial District.
24e Health Clubs has three other locations currently open, with a fourth under construction in Huntsville.
